A Hilltop man pleaded guilty to a series of West Side rapes today as attorneys began to screen jurors for his trial in Franklin County Common Pleas Court. Charles L. Harvey, 38, formerly of N. Burgess Avenue, was sentenced to 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to four counts of rape and one count of kidnapping.

State Farm said today that it will add about 90 jobs in central Ohio, part of the 3,000 new positions the insurer plans to add across the country. The 90 jobs will be in Columbus and Newark, the company said. Most of the jobs will be in claims handling while some will be in underwriting.
